Kravet- You have to have it!

Check out the impact of pattern and color in the above vignette from a Kravet showroom.  The use of complementary colors always provides instant contrast and drama.  Here, the balance created from formal symmetry keeps this vignette from becoming overwhelming due to the bold patterns and colors.

Above is another vignette from a Kravet showroom illustrating the use of muted colors with bold pattern.  By keeping the colors neutral except for the pop of a jewel tone blue, the patterns are not overwhelming to the eye.  Do not be hesitant to mix large patterns when you keep a neutral color scheme.  This is an easy way to figure out your own style preferences before you dive into mixing large patterns with bold colors.
