Keeping Rooms

In the colonial days, keeping rooms were known as the "heart" of the home; much like they still are today. This special space is where the majority of everyday "living" is done in each home in conjunction with the kitchen. It can be easier than you think to "freshen" your family gathering areas. With the holidays rapidly approaching, we all want our homes to shine! This week we are starting a story board mini-series by sharing some of what we carry at The Great House Store to help everyone create beautiful family spaces! Each board is composed of an inspiration room photograph with a coordinating color palette, fabrics and furnishings suggestions. All products that we carry are listed below the boards with name, item number and manufacturer. They can all be purchased at www.thegreathousestore.com. Thank you House Beautiful for providing some of our photos as well as Dura Lee for online fabric resources!

Enjoy!
