Life in a Barn - A Different Way to Exist

One of the thoughts I most relish as I drive around..... is life in an unexpected space.  A Barn?  A structure that is simple.  Ceiling with no end, no walls?  Ummm... No, not many.  Windows, glass doors, barn doors on slides, opening the house to the outdoors even when my family thinks it is too cold, just for an hour a day or when the mood strikes.  Vistas, blue skies, gray skies, rain, birds, an occasional bird flying in, husband having to capture bird, putting bird back outside, closing doors, husband explaining this is why doors can't be left open.

So many of us are searching for something new.  Even if you are a first time home buyer, you are not going to buy the same thing your parents bought.  You want to be "green."  Your parents only knew that grass was green.  As we travel across the country we are amazed at some of the new ways that creative people live.  It is definitely time to consider "a different way to exist."
