Making Guests feel Welcome

Fluffing the Room!

I know we all get excited when guests visit. It's a chance to dress up a room and make someone happy, even if only for a few days. Crisp White Bedding is always a YES. This is such an easy look to accomplish and can be done in all price ranges. The Rachel Ashwell "Shabby Chic" white sheets are some of the softest we have found, and they can be purchased at Target! While you are there pick up 2 fresh white bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 4 washcloths. This folded on the freshly made bed makes your guests feel welcome in your home. (Pick up a few beautiful European Soaps and stack that on top of your towels!)

A little basket on the bed table with bottled waters, a few snacks and some toiletries will make your guests feel comfortable and welcomed.

It's also a nice touch to make sure that your guest room gets really dark when you draw the drapes or pull the shades down. Your guests will feel like they are really on vacation!

Welcoming Guests this time of year can be a wonderful time in the kitchen as well. Fresh squeezed juices, locally purchased produce and special baked goods make simple guest breakfasts easy and enjoyable for all!
